So, one of my many and favorite jobs is doing hair and/or make-up for Designer’s Look Books. I have been working with gown and dress designer Dalia MacPhee for a few years and just finished her fall 2012 Look Book. For Dalia, I usually do hair and often work with one of my favorite make-up artists (who I met on a Dalia shoot) Leibi Carias. I was excited to see Leibi because I missed the last shoot. We arrived at the same time to find the electricity was out in the building we were shooting in and we would have to climb 11 floors to the photographer’s loft!! As the models sprinted past us, Leibi and I slowly made our way up the 11 stories trying to cheer each other on. Needless to say I was huffing and puffing when I got to the 11th floor…..
