I was thinking back on some of my favorite make-up looks that I’ve done for Regard Magazine and I must say that one of my top faves has to be the very first cover  I did on model Molly Shea. She was game for an exotic look so I crimped her bangs and then pinned in some long blonde dread locks. Fashion Stylist,  Chris Mannor, did a Lady Gaga inspired eye patch, that I love. So, I’ve been working on building Regard Magazine with my partner in crime, photographer,  Dimitry Loiseau for the last 2 years and it’s been a fantastic experience. We are so thankful to all the wonderful celebrities we feature and people we work with for their support and enthusiasm. Because we do everything for the magazine, Dimitry has become a fantastic stylist as he styles almost all of the editorials for the magazine.  This has turned into many requests for red carpet styling and I wanted to show a few of his looks…..

The new issue 11 of Regard Magazine is here  featuring Camille Grammer, one of the stars of Bravo’s, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Designer, Oday Shakar, brought some amazing designs as you can see by the stunning editorial. The amazing jewelry was provided by Black, Starr & Frost and I must say it was dazzling. We all had a fabulous time shooting on location and you can get to know more about Camille when you check out her interview. As always, I did Camille’s hair and make-up and Dimitry did the photography.  Thanks to Oday Shakar, and Black, Star and Frost for a fantastic shoot!!

Miss USA… Alyssa Campanella

As you know, I am the beauty editor and co-founder of REGARD Magazine. It is a fabulous job because I get to work with so many cool, talented and stylish people including the other co-founder and my partner in crime, Dimitry Loieasu. So, last night the current Miss California, Alyssa Campanella, took the title of Miss USA.  We had a chance to work with her (she is featured in RegardMag.com issue 6) shortly after she won the Miss California title. As you can see, she was stunning in our photoshoot and we are not surprised that she took the Miss USA title.  Congratulations, Alyssa, on a job well done…. Here’s to the Miss Universe win!!

New Cover and Editorial for Umm Magazine

Check out the Cover and Editorial Shoot we did for Umm Magazine (summer 2010) with Hero’s and True Blood’s Dawn Olivieri.  Dimitry Loiseau did an amazing job and Dawn was fun and easy to work with.  She has the best hair and I’m sure she was tired of me raving about it by the end of the shoot.  You can pick up a copy or check the spread here.….
