About Valerie Noble

I started as a hairstylist at a young age and by the time I was a senior in high school, I was a licensed cosmetologist. That led me, after college, to working for a popular salon franchise as VP of technical training where I trained the hairstylists their cutting system and did employee training for the franchisees. Next, came owning and operating my own salon for 10 years until I made my way to Los Angeles to try my hand as a hairstylist in the TV and film industry.

I had fun doing shows like “Deal or No Deal” for NBC, “Ten Years Younger” for TLC, “Halfway Home” for Comedy Central, “Tia and Tamera” for Style Network and movies like Truth Be Told, Selfmade: The Madam CJ Walker Story, The Witches, and Thunder Force along with many network promos and Red Carpets for award shows.

Fast forward to presently co-founding and running for the last 7 years, with photographer, Dimitry Loiseau, Regard Magazine, a digital magazine that features the best in fashion and today’s celebrity talent. As hair and makeup artist and art director for the publication, I get to work with a diverse pool of talent while shaping the content for each issue.

I also have done many magazine editorials for Elle, Entertainment Weekly, Essence, In Style, Hollywood Reporter, More Magazine, Life and Style, Us Weekly, Vanity Fair and many more. Talent/Celebrities I’ve worked with include: Octavia Spencer, Chrissy Metz, Regina King, Lou Diamond Phillips, Bellamy Young, Mayim Bialik, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Katy Mixon, Dawn-Lyen Gardner, Sterling K. Brown, Justina Muchado, Sherri Shepherd, Tia and Tamera Mowry, Viola Davis, Laura and Vanessa Marano, among many more.

With more than 30 years experience in the beauty business, I look forward to continued work on films, TV Shows, movie press junkets, video shoots, editorial photo shoots, and photo shoots for models, actors and musicians as well as advertising and commercial shoots, doing hair and make-up. When it comes to hair & make-up it’s about “Always Beautiful Hair and Make-up.”
